What is your operating season?
The waterpark is open from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day. The waterpark will only be open weekends when area schools are in session. For more information check our Hours page.What can I bring into the waterpark?
You may only bring in factory sealed bottled water. No outside food or drink will be permitted into the park. Coolers of any kind are not permitted. Can I get back into the park if I leave?
You may exit and re-enter throughout the day as long as you are wearing a valid water park admission band.What happens in the event of bad weather?
There are NO REFUNDS given for bad weather. If management decides the current weather conditions are unsafe or dangerous, the park may temporarily suspend operation. If operations remain suspended for more than 45 minutes, a raincheck will be issued. You must be present to receive a rain check.What types of flotation devices can be brought in?
Only US Coast Guard approved life jackets will be allowed inside the park. Children under 48" ARE REQUIRED to wear a life jacket in the wavepool. If you do nothave one for your child we will provide one free of charge. Arm floats, inflatable rafts\tubes, swim noodles, or any other type of swim toys are not permitted in the park.
Are there any age or height requirements for your attractions?
There are no age requirements for any of our attractions. Certain attractions may have height requirments ranging from 36"-58". Please check our attractions pagefor more information.
What if I am not swimming, do I still have to pay to get in?
Admission charge is required for anyone entering the park. At this time we do not offer spectator rates.Do you offer discounted rates for special needs individuals?
Discounted rates are available for handicapped individuals. Approval is required to get this rate and you must call the park at least 48 hours prior to your arrival.What am I allowed to wear at the waterpark?
Appropriate swim wear is required. Swim wear is defined as an article of clothing, such as a swimsuit, that has been designed to be used in a pool environment. Swim wear should be lined and may not be transparent at any time. Revealing swim wear and thong or t-back swim wear bottoms will not be permitted. Cut off jeans, denim clothing, hard metal objects, T-Shirts and shoes cannot be worn on any of the water slides. No undergarments may be visible at any time. No profanity/vulgar images or language allowed. Those wearing jean cut-offs or any other street apparel will not be allowed to use the water slides and may be asked to leave the park. Alltoddlers are required to wear a swim diaper. If you do not have one, a vinyl diaper cover can be obtained at the gate and is covered in the cost of the toddler admission.
Can I drop off my children and leave?
Children under the age of 12 may not be left unattended at the park! All children under 12 must be accompanied by someone 16 or older at all times.Do you charge for parking?
No. Parking is always FREE. However, during busy days parking may be limited.Does Big Surf offer food and beverage?
Big Surf offers many different food options. We have a Subway serving your favorite sandwiches. We offer fresh pizza, flame broiled hamburgers, chicken strips,french fries, ice cream, and more!
Can we get a donation for our school\organization\church?
We love to give back to our community. However, due to the high volume of submissions not all donation requests will be able to be filled. All donation requestsmust be faxed on your organizations letterhead to 480-461-3496.
